Sustainability in the boat rental industry is a key focus of attention to protect the delicate balance of aquatic ecosystems.With increasing environmental awareness and the urgency to combat climate change, the boating industry is undergoing a profound transformation toward more eco-friendly practices, and in this area, our commitment to the sustainable approach to boat rental is clearly a shining example of excellence.
The increased environmental awareness that has developed in recent years is significantly influencing the boat rental sector, leading to improved operational practices in order to ensure more sustainable nautical tourism. It is in this context that the issue of sustainability in boat rentals has become an integral part of our proposals, which are increasingly geared toward safeguarding the lake ecosystem of Lake Garda.
Among the many elements of focus that have impacted our strategic and operational choices is, for example, responsible waste management through rigorous separate waste collection and the gradual elimination of single-use plastic. This is also demonstrated by the introduction of the Green Package, an innovative initiative whereby we provide customers with reusable water bottles filled with water from returnable glass bottles, accompanied by jute bags for waste collection, at an affordable cost of only 10 euros.
Attention to the environment
In addition to this, we implement increasingly specific guidelines to prevent pollution and which, among other elements, include regular maintenance of fuel filters, the exclusive use of water for boat cleaning, and the use of eco-certified paints and detergents.
Again, we pay close attention to the life cycle of boats, providing top priority to preventive maintenance and repair in order to significantly extend the useful life of boats. We also contribute to environmental protection by organizing beach cleanup events and ensure an integrated approach to sustainability in boat rentals that not only serves as an effective response to growing environmental concern, but is embodied in an innovative model that ensures the long-term prosperity of the industry, preserving the beauty and integrity of the lake ecosystem for generations to come.
